Can you imagine it?... Men going shopping? As most wives/women might say… Neveeeerrr!
Why? ‘Cos men like a simple list of what we need to buy. Then we go and buy it then we come back feeling satisfied we’ve done the job/task we were ‘ordered’ to do!

But wait!... “OMG… You paid HOW MUCH for that??’” ARGGGHHH … then “So where’s the A2 Milk I asked for?... Milk is not milk you know!!” (no I didn’t know sorry!)
From my personal observations, the difference between men &women is that women seem to like to ‘browse’ while shopping whilst men like ‘boxes’. Eg;… ‘I have a list – I’ll fulfill that list & that’s that!’
So today we went to Coles. For me? 15mins… For ‘us’ 35mins+
Hmmm …We had a shopping list my wife Kaye had made. Brussels Sprouts, Salad Mix, Pork, Fish, Tissues & Spring Water.
Too easy right???... Yea – Nah!
Well the Sprouts were easy, but when it came to the Salad Mix… OMG!... Waaay to many choices. In fact it took us about 15mins before ‘she’ who must be obeyed decided we don’t need a salad mix so we just got a bunch of spinach. Likewise, we got some carrots etc ‘cos apparently, we can make our own ‘salad mix’ with what ingredients we already have! *SIGH*.
Likewise with the Pork/Fish options… seems Aldi might be a better option after checking out all the options for a good 15mins.
As for the tissues – I found several versions that I thought were OK… seems Aldi again was a better option!!
Eh.. .what would I know!
So as you (ladies) probably know, while it might be good to have hubby or your male partner looking after the trolley in the store itself, it seems we have NO idea of what we are looking for or the best value etc other than what you have written on our shopping list if you send us off shopping by ourselves!
Solution? … DIY
… just sayin’!
